U.S. Robotics Expands Networking Product Offerings at CompUSA

Chicago (August 3, 2005)– U.S. Robotics announced today it is expanding its network product offerings at CompUSA, one of the nation’s leading retailers and resellers of technology products and services. Beginning in August, customers will have access to more than twenty U.S. Robotics products on the shelves of every CompUSA store.

Included in the new products offering is U.S. Robotics’ new Wireless MAXg product family, designed to provide wireless performance comparable to pre-N products at half the price. The MAXg products offer a complete wireless networking solution for homes, home offices, and small- and medium-sized businesses, including routers with a built-in USB print server and advanced security features, PC Cards, PCI Adapters, and USB Adapters, all ranging in price from $59.99 to $89.99.

“U.S. Robotics is recognized as a leading networking brand; they are seen around the world as being reliable, cost-effective, and user-friendly,” says CompUSA Divisional Merchandise Manager Doug Lane. “The addition of their wireless MAXg products to CompUSA stores is a testament to our continued commitment to providing reliable, easy-to-use products that businesses and consumers want.”

Available both online at www.compusa.comand in each of the retailer’s more than 240 stores, U.S. Robotics’ products will be featured in both the wired and wireless networking areas. The computer superstores will continue to sell the company’s analog modems.

“U.S. Robotics is recognized as a leader in networking products,” says Jerry Devlin, vice president of sales and marketing at U.S. Robotics. “By adding our wireless products to the shelves at CompUSA, it is now even easier to purchase the best wireless networking technology offered.”
