Disclaimer:
This update is intended for use with the xx5625, xx5630, and xx5668 modem model numbers only. Check the version number of BVRP as follows:

  • Start the BVRP Application.
  • Click Menus, highlight Help and click About PhoneTools/Winphone.
  • The About PhoneTools/Winphone window will open displaying the version number.

If the version number is 2.15 or 2.17, you'll need to download the BVRP219Update.exe file. If the version number is earlier than 2.15, you’ll need to download a full version of BVRP version 2.19.
Select your country from the list below to download the correct file.

Full Version File Install Instructions. 
This file is intended to install the full version of BVRP 2.19 for use with the following modems:

  • xx5625
  • xx5630
  • xx5668


Note: Before continuing, you must uninstall any older versions of BVRP.

  1. Download the appropriate file for your country to your hard disk drive.
  2. Make sure the BVRP program is not running.
  3. Click Windows Start, point to Settings, and click Control Panel
  4. Double click the Add/Remove Programs icon. BVRP will be listed as Winphone or Phone tools in the list.
  5. Highlight the program name and click the Add/Remove button to uninstall. Follow the on screen menu prompts.
  6. To install BVRP 2.19, locate and double-click the file in Windows Explorer. This is a self-installing file that loads BVRP 2.19. Follow the on screen menu to complete the installation.

Instructions

Note: This file is intended to Update BVRP version 2.15 and 2.17 to the latest version of 2.19.

  1. Download the appropriate file to your hard disk drive.
  2. Locate and double-click the file in Windows Explorer.
  3. Select your country in the menu and click OK.
  4. Check the version number of BVRP after running the update.
  5. Start the BVRP application, click Menus, highlight Help and click About PhoneTools/WinPhone. The About PhoneTools/WinPhone window will open displaying the version number. It should now read as version 2.19.
