Getting Dial-up Information from Your Computer
The following instructions will help you obtain installation information from your Windows computer. Click here for Macintosh instructions.
Windows Users
Display your TCP/IP settings as follows:
Windows XP users:
- Click Windows Start > Control Panel.
- Click the Network and Internet Connections icon.
- Click the Network Connections icon.
- Right-click your ISP Connection and select Properties.
Windows Me users:
- Click Windows Start > Settings > Dial-Up Networking.
- Right-click your ISP Connection and select Properties.
Windows 2000 users:
- Click Windows Start > Settings > Control Panel.
- Double-click Network and Dial-up Connections.
- Right-click your ISP Connection and select Properties.
Windows NT users:
- Right-click My Computer, and select Explore.
- Double-click Dial-Up Networking.
- From the Phonebook entry dropdown menu, select your ISP connection.
- Click More > Edit entry and modem properties.
Windows 98/95 users:
- Right-click My Computer, and select Explore.
- Double-click Dial-Up Networking.
- Right-click your ISP connection, and select Properties.
