My Cable or DSL service is not working, and I need access to the Internet.

Possible Solution

If you have an external analogue modem and dial-up Internet service, you can still access the Internet.

  1. Connect the external analogue modem according to the procedure described in Installing with an Analogue or ISDN Modem.
  2. Open your Web browser, type http://192.168.123.254 in the Address or Location field, and press Enter to access the Web User Interface.
  3. Click Basic Setting > Primary Setup, and then select Dial-up Network .
  4. Enter the appropriate information for your dial-up ISP.
  5. Click Save.
