Use this Bulletin to determine if your system's PC
Card controller is configured for Windows 95 and Windows 98. This way,
you will know if you need to make changes to it in order to install your
PC Card. It may also explain why your PC Card has been unrecognized when
you have attempted to install it.
Note:
Our Applications Engineers do not have the data to help you configure
your system's PC Card Controller. You will need to contact your system
manufacturer for that.
Check Your Controller
- Click Start, point to Settings and click Control
Panel.
- Double-click your PC Card icon.

...follow the prompts and go to the section of this Bulletin

Check Device Manager
- Restart your system, power off and then on.
- Insert your PC Card.
- Click Start, point to Settings and click Control
Panel.
- Double-click System.
- Click Device Manager and inspect its list for
a red X or a yellow excalamation point!

Highlight the controller and click on Properties. Under "Device
Usage" ensure that the controller is enabled. |

need to make changes to your system. |
