    Drivers and Firmware
    Windows 2000 installation files
    1. Download the USR5695_2K_XP.exe file to a temporary location on your computer's hard disk drive.
    2. Double-click the file in Windows Explorer and the file will self extract to a folder named C:\USR\USR5695\Drivers.
    3. When prompted by Windows, direct the installation to the C:\USR\USR5695\Drivers folder. This should complete the installation of your modem.

    Windows XP installation files
    1. Download the USR5695_2K_XP.exe file to a temporary location on your computer's hard disk drive.
    2. Double-click the file in Windows Explorer and the file will self extract to a folder named C:\USR\USR5695\Drivers.
    3. Click the XP install instructions to install the USR5695 in Windows XP. This will guide you through the Device Manager.
    4. Right-click on the default USRobotics Faxmodem Win 1807 entry. You will then be instructed to select the updated driver.
    5. Direct Windows to C:\USR\USR5695\Drivers folder where you extracted the file.

    Windows 95B/98 installation files
    Download this file to your hard disk drive. Double-click the file in Windows Explorer and it will self-extract into a folder named C:\USR. You will need 2.7Mb of free hard disk space. Direct the installation to the C:\USR folder when prompted for drivers. This file should not be used with any other product.

    Windows NT installation files
    This file only works on computers Windows NT with the USR5695 modem. Double-click the file in Windows Explorer and click the Setup button to run the installation program. You will need 2.6Mb of free hard disk space and Service Pack 4 or higher installed. In the Modem Setup window, click the Install button. This file should not be used with any other product.
