What do I do if I have forgotten the user name or password to access my access point?
If you have forgotten the user name or password used to log in to your access point:
- Press the Reset button on the back of the access point for 10 seconds to restore the access point to the factory default settings.
- Repeat the installation procedures to configure the settings for your access point, including setting a new password for the access point.
How do I restore the access point to its factory default settings?
First, be aware that restoring the factory default settings loses all configuration changes that you made.
If you are certain that you need to restore the factory default settings, use a small object such as a paper clip to press in and hold the reset button on the back of the access point for 10 seconds.
After you restore the access point, reconfigure the basic settings of the access point, or, if you made a backup of your settings, restore the settings by using the backup.
