Note: This BVRP PhoneTools 4.21 update is intended for use with all USRxx5668B and only any USRxx5668-01 models that have been updated to V.92. This particular version of BVRP PhoneTools 4.21 fixes issues related to Independent-mode and will not work with any other modem or model number. To verify the current version number of BVRP PhoneTools, follow the steps below:
- Start the BVRP PhoneTools Application.
- Click Menus, highlight Help, and click About PhoneTools/Winphone.
- The About PhoneTools/Winphone window will open displaying the version number.
Installation Instructions
Note: This file is intended for use with all USRxx5668B and only any USRxx5668-01 models that have been updated to V.92.
Note: Before continuing, you must uninstall any older versions of BVRP PhoneTools.
- You must uninstall any older versions of BVRP PhoneTools.
- Download the appropriate file for your country to your hard disk drive.
- Make sure the BVRP PhoneTools program is not running.
- Click Windows Start, point to Settings, and click Control Panel.
- Double click the Add/Remove Programs icon. BVRP PhoneTools will be listed as "Winphone" or "PhoneTools" in the list.
- Highlight the program name and click the Add/Remove button to uninstall. Follow the onscreen menu prompts.
- Download the appropriate language file to a temporary location on your computer’s hard disk drive such as C:\temp.
- Double-click the Setup.exe file extracted in the temporary directory and follow the onscreen instructions.
