Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
Partners looking for embedded communications products have been looking to USR for last 30 years for the best quality modems available. These internal dial-up business modems are provided in OEM modem bulk packs which are sold in sets of 20 or 50 units. Support is provided by the integrator or the VAR with files provided by USR.

Windows and now Linux compatibility means support for a wide range of business applications and games, including 64-bit operating systems. Also includes V.22 Fast Connect, which reduces the connection sequence time for very small data transfers, makes this modem ideal for Point of Sale (POS) systems. Model 2981 is available for Europe, the US equivalent (Model 2980) is no longer available.
