Windows 11, 10, 8, 8.1, 7 Drivers Product should install with the inbuilt drivers with up to date Windows Operating Systems.

1. Download the 4524-Windows-Drivers.zip file to a temporary location on your computer's hard drive.
2. Extract the contents of the file to a temporary location on your hard drive.
3. Double-click the exe file in Windows Explorer and follow the on-screen instructions. Agree to the End-User License Agreement and continue with the install.
4. Click Finish.
5. Plug in the USB TAP, a reboot may be needed

NOTE: After installation there should be 2 new Ethernet interfaces listed in Control Panel -> Network and Sharing.

Mac OS X 10.10.x (Yosemite), 10.11.x (El Capitan) & 10.12.x (Sierra), OS X 10.14.x (Mojave) Modem Drivers Do not attach the TAP during the driver installation.

1. Download the file to a temporary location on your computer's hard drive.
2. Extract the contents of the file.
3. Double click on the LAN78xx 1.0.4.pkg to start the installation.
4. Click continue and agree to the licence agreement and continue.
5. On prompt provide your administrator account password.
6. Wait for the installation to finish. This may take a few minutes.
7. You will see the Installation was successful message once the installation is completed. Click Close to exit.
8. The driver should be installed to the /Library/Extensions folder as LAN7800.kext on successfull installation.
9. Plug in the USB TAP

Linux Drivers Linux kernel versions 4.3 and above will have the proper driver (lan78xx.ko) built into the kernel.

1. Download the 4524-Linux-Drivers.zip file to a temporary location on your computer's hard drive.
2. Extract the contents of the file to a temporary location on your hard drive.
3. Follow the instructions in the ReadMe.PDF.
